“A few years ago, I had fallen into a slump in my career and personally I just did not feel like my energetic self. Also, I had attended a leadership development training for up and coming African American leaders where I received feedback on how to combat perceptions that are often cast on African American women leaders. I told my friend Terri, I wanted to upgrade my wardrobe with a new image, and I wanted her assitance. Let’s just say this…Style does matter.
